Great opportunities for a number of experienced Testers to join this successful Testing Team for a leading Financial Services client based in Cambridge.
2 of the roles are Test Leads who will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day testing activities of the team as well as being expected to represent the testing team at some key technology meetings, and also to supervise the team in the Test Managers absence.
The two Senior Testing roles paying £32,000 - £36,000 will perform the role of a Senior Tester within the team, where-by you will lead by example and also pass on experience and skills to more Junior members.
This will predominantly be a Manual Testing role, though you will also gain exposure to Automated Testing techniques and approaches. Should you already be conversant in Automated Testing using QTP and VBScript then your skills will certainly be utilised.
You role will include defining and developing test strategies, test plans, test cases and scripts from functional specifications, as well as the test execution of these scripts.
The team you will be working in predominantly work on web-based testing projects and the environment you will be testing includes .Net and XML on SQL Server, so previous experience testing such applications is of course desirable.
Previous exposure to testing on Unix platforms again would be very useful, as would be any experience using SQL to interrogate database tables.ISEB is preferred.
